About KLGM Hiring Challenge
The Kotak Life Growth Manager (KLGM) Hiring Challenge is a premier competition tailored for the brightest minds from the eligible list of B-schools across India. It is designed to identify and cultivate future leaders who can drive strategic growth at Kotak Life. Participants engage in solving real-world business challenges, demonstrating their leadership, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.

This exclusive challenge offers a unique opportunity for students to interact directly with Kotak Life’s senior leadership, gaining insights and mentorship while competing for top honors. The challenge not only rewards winners with recognition and prizes but also provides valuable exposure and networking opportunities within the industry. With a focus on innovation and leadership, the KLGM Hiring Challenge stands as a gateway for ambitious students to step into impactful roles within Kotak Life.
Eligibility: The hiring challenge is open to 2nd-year students pursuing 2-year full-time MBA/PGDM from the eligible list of campuses.

The hiring challenge is open to 2nd-year students of the flagship MBA program of eligible institutes.

Students from the same campus can register in teams of two.

The students can be from any specialization.

A student cannot be a member of more than one team.

Any deviation from the above-mentioned guidelines will result in immediate disqualification of the entire team.

Virtual Launch and Case Study Reveal
The top leadership at Kotak will enlighten the participants about the hiring challenge. They will brief the participants about the case study will be followed by a Q&A round, answering all their queries. Which will be live on 4th September.

Grand Finale
The Top 6 teams from the previous round will present their solutions to the panel in the Grand Finale. The Top 3 teams will be selected and offered PPOs & travel vouchers. Selected Finalists from other teams will have PPI, as per panel judgement.

Competition Structure
Case Submission
The case study will be available on the opportunity page after registration. Teams are required to submit an executive summary explaining their solution in PDF format, with a file size not exceeding 10 MB. The deadline for submission is 21st September at 11:59 P.M.
Virtual Presentation
Shortlisted teams from the previous round will present their solutions virtually to the senior management of Kotak on 8th Oct. Each team will have 8 minutes for the presentation, followed by 7 minutes for Q&A. All relevant details will be shared with the shortlisted teams via email.
Grand Finale
The top 6 teams from the previous round will present their solutions to the panel in the Grand Finale. The top 3 teams will be selected and offered PPOs and travel vouchers. Selected finalists from other teams will receive PPIs based on the panel’s judgment.

Their primary purpose is to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the insurance sector by developing strategies that optimize sales, improve customer acquisition and retention, and increase overall business profitability. They align closely with the company's mission to provide valuable insurance solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers.
Key Responsibilities of Growth Managers:

Serve as an internal consultant for Kotak Life as a Growth Manager, focusing on building the digital roadmap and leading strategic, high-impact projects.

Conduct comprehensive primary and secondary research to gather valuable insights from both within the industry and best practices from external sources.

Present findings and insights to the leadership team across various departments, contributing to the development of the digital roadmap and overseeing project execution.

Drive the digital transformation initiatives in the assigned departments after completing the initial 6-month program.
